Phil was born in Newfoundland and has been fortunate to live in New Brunswick, Ontario, Alberta and BC. Phil loves it here in Halifax and has since he moved here in 2009. This city has caught the heart of both Phil and his fiancé / business partner, Syna, and they are proud to call this city home.
Phil got his start in real estate 7 years ago in Halifax were he had the opportunity to represented & sell the most successful pre-construction condo project in Halifax (Gorsebrook Park Condos). He did this all while quickly becoming one of the top agents at his brokerage, Keller Williams Select Realty. Before getting into real estate, Phil had an extensive career in industrial sales while also receiving his MBA from Saint Mary’s University in 2014.
Phil loves to talk sports! He continues to play hockey in a variety of local pickup games and his favourite team is Montreal Canadians. Phil is a diehard Toronto Blue Jays fan and attended games religiously while living in Toronto. This is where he began his prize collection of bobble heads from the Blue Jays.
Phil is a proud cat dad to Fabio and Romeo and if you live in the Mineville community you may get lucky and see them on their nightly walks. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors & traveling.
He is our numbers guy. When you talk to him about any business-related topic, he will automatically start calculating profits / margins in his head. Because of his love of numbers, he has naturally fallen into investment portfolios.

Syna made the switch to real estate to spend more time with her partner Phil buying, selling, and investing in real estate for themselves. When you ask her how she is doing she will say she is “Living the Dream”! She loves being able to help others achieve their real estate dreams! She is a great listener and truly wants to hear your hopes, dreams, and fears. Mitigating risks on real estate projects are extremely important to her. Syna will advise you on how to make confident decisions to realize your dreams. She is a perpetual researcher, searching for an understanding and knowing when to consult the professionals. She prides herself on having great relationships with contractors and other professionals in the city.
Syna was a civil engineering technologist before getting into real estate. Her technical knowledge of drainage, sewage, and water is extremely valuable to her clients. She is extremely passionate about drainage! Two of her favourite sayings are “water will destroy everything man makes” & “control the water before it controls you”. Her biggest pet peeve is seeing an eaves-trough dripping directly into the foundation of a house. Knowledge breeds confidence and the team’s goal is to provide their clients with the knowledge so that they can feel confident in their decisions.
She is extremely confident marketing on camera from her 10 years of working on cruise ships as a shopping consultant helping people buy designer jewellery & watches in the Caribbean. This allows her to personally market your property, which nowadays is a necessity as everything is done virtually.
In her spare time Syna likes to take care of her handsome boys Fabio, Romeo & Phil! Doing hands-on gardening and renovations gives her a sense of pride. She loves making things that are ugly or non-functional, beautiful and easy! Once a year, in the summer, she goes back to Edmonton to see her family and go to the family farm on Gull Lake. Both she and Phil met travelling and she loves it if Phil takes her somewhere warm and tropical once a year to escape the winter in Canada!
